1. What motivates you to get off the couch and workout?
 My motivation is staying healthy and fit at 38 years old, and to be a good example for my clients and community.

I can do about 10 pull-ups. I think if I didn’t weigh 240lbs it would be more

3.What is your dream car?
I have never been a lover of cars, growing up in Chicago. I would be happy with a car that starts in the winter when it’s below zero and the wind is howling.

4.If you weren’t a personal trainer, what would you be doing?
I would be a History Teacher. I love kids and I have always liked history.

5.Who inspires you?
Men and women in their 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s who are still working out and being healthy. It really motivates me..

6. Who would you want to play you, in a movie of your life?
Denzel Washington. But, he would have to gain a little more muscle first.

7. If you could only use ONE piece of fitness equipment for the next
year, what would you choose?
A 45lb barbell. I would be able to hit every muscle group with that one barbell.

8. Tell us about your journey to the fitness industry.
I got my first gym membership at the age of 14 after playing Freshman football. I was getting my butt kicked on the football field. I went from 140lbs to 190lbs in 4 years of high school. After that, I made weight training a part of my everyday life.
